Devon Kloss State Farm Strategizes Business in the ELM Business Accelerator
Devon Kloss, owner of Devon Kloss State Farm, effectively showcased her clinic session at the innovative Entrepreneur Leadership Mission (ELM) Business Accelerator program facilitated by the Bradford Area Alliance. Clinicals serve as a platform for business owners to present their business and ideas for growth with active input from fellow classmates and guest entrepreneurs and industry experts with relevant expertise. Kloss’s clinic session took place at the Marilyn Horne Museum and Exhibit Center’s conference room on Thursday evening.
Reactors, mentors, facilitators, and classmates shared suggestions and supportive comments after Kloss’s presentation. Mentors are seasoned business owners or entrepreneurs that provide support and guidance throughout the programing. Bill Andrews, a partner at Pace Management, served as Kloss’s mentor. “I have enjoyed being a mentor and reactor for the program. It has been rewarding assisting these entrepreneurs and seeing how openly they share and utilize the resources that the program provides for them. It has been rewarding working with Devon and seeing how her passion for her business, her people, and her community drives her to be better,” stated Andrews.
Reactors are guest entrepreneurs and subject matter experts that offer new perspectives on strategies to face challenges and opportunities during clinicals. Kloss’s reactor was Bernie Aja, Business Development Executive with Employer Services Corporation (ESC) and Taylor Gillmeister, Assurance Manager at LVBW, CPA.
