Allegheny Store Fixtures presents plans for growth during ELM Business Accelerator Program

Business owners in the Entrepreneurial  Leadership Mission (ELM) Business Accelerator are conducting ‘Clinic Sessions’. Clinicals serve as a platform for business owners to present their business and ideas for growth with active input from fellow classmates and guest entrepreneurs with relevant expertise.

Allegheny Store Fixtures is owned by Garrett Raney and Petra Stana after purchasing the business in 2021. The business, located at 57 Holley Avenue, designs and manufactures custom interior fixtures. Petra Stana, a participant in the ELM Accelerator program states, “The ELM Accelerator has been my proverbial village. Just three months in, it has become a voice inside my head pushing me towards meaningful change in my company.”

The ELM Business Accelerator program is a 9-month program launched by the Bradford Area Alliance to provide business owners with resources and training to scale their business, pursue new opportunities, overcome challenges, and accelerate their success.

Participants are also paired with mentors who are specifically matched to their individual challenges and goals. These mentors provide guidance and support through the length of the program. Also present was Petra Stana’s mentor, Craig Womeldorf, from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central & Northern PA.

“The mentor and business owner relationships forged here have proven to be incredibly beneficial for all participants, amplifying the positive impacts of the entire program,” states Christian Smith, Economic Development Specialist with the Bradford Area Alliance.

The ELM Business Accelerator is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Business Development Grant (RBDG) program.
