The Harvey L. Golubock Business Competition is open to anyone who would like to open a new business and to new business ventures of existing businesses in the Bradford, PA and surrounding area.
Founded in 1996, Allegheny Store Fixtures (ASF) is a pedigreed custom fixture manufacturer that engineers and manufactures custom millwork, cabinetry, and fixtures for middle-market commercial projects nationwide. The business was purchased in 2021 by Garrett Raney and Petra Stana, who are expanding the business’s capabilities and the industries it serves. ASF is in the process of creating a new casework capability to help topline revenue, diversify its customer base, and smooth seasonality. Ultimately, this will create a more stable business for the Bradford community along with new sustainable employment opportunities. ASF seeks to become a more stable and future-proof business to make a meaningful contribution to domestic manufacturing and become a leader in the sustainable manufacturing movement. Ownership, which won the 2023 Harvey L. Golubock Business Competition, is eager to continue growing and improving the business through the best routes possible.
